iPhone 11 Pro specification , review ,battery life and priceiPhone 11 Pro

Apple Iphones are one of the best-selling smartphones in the world, giving a somewhat different experience with the same kind of utility compared to Android smartphones in the market. Last year Iphone XS and XS Max were launched which came with very good specifications at a good price tag. Later a very economical Iphone XR came on the market and rocked the sales of many major smartphones by offering good value. This year the Iphone 11 arrived and replaced the Iphone XR with a better camera and a powerful A13 bionic processor. Similarly, the Iphone 11 Pro and Iphone 11 Pro Max replaced the Iphone XS and Iphone XS Max with some nice improvements and most importantly the price. And now all variants of this year come with iOS 13 and powerful A13 bionic chip. Take a look at the iPhone 11 Pro and see if those cameras deserve publicity and is this the best flagship smartphone one can buy?

iPhone 11 Pro Design:

iPhone 11 pro design

The design of the Iphone 11 Pro is similar to the Iphone XS, with glass on the front as well as back and sides made of stainless steel. Now instead of two cameras on the back of the Iphone XS, you get three cameras on the back in addition to an ultravide camera placed on the top left corner of the rear. It has a matte finish on the back that provides a solid feel when held and resists fingerprints. The Iphone 11 Pro is IP68 rated and can withstand submersion of up to 4 meters for 30 minutes. Like its predecessor, the Iphone 11 Pro has a wider sweeping mark that impedes the screen. The performance looks really good which we will discuss in a later section. There is a power button with volume controls on the sides.
The device weighs around 188gms which is slightly heavier than the Iphone XS. The back of the iPhone 11 Pro supports wireless charging and the back can be easily customized using the mobile skin. Overall the design is good but the wider notch at the front affects the device as many other flagship Droodrops come with the Notch or full screen display. The device also lacks a 3.5 mm headphone jack.

iPhone 11 Pro Display:

iPhone 11 pro display

For display, the Iphone 11 Pro sports a 5.8-inch Super Retina XDR (eXtreme Dynamic Range) OLED display (1125 x 2436 pixels), with a screen to body ratio of 19.5: 9 and 458ppi. The screen is very bright and the colors on it look crisp and well out. The brightness and contrast levels are well maintained. Under direct view, the OLED panel shines because it provides a contrast level of color and the screen can move very low at night, so that the eyes do not stretch. This OLED panel can also support DCI-P3 which is seen automatically after enabling it.
This OLED panel supports HDR content and Dolby Vision, but one thing is lacking is the 90Hz display like the OnePlus 7 Pro and some other devices. There is nothing to worry about animations and scrolling that is comfortable with the 60Hz panel. The iPhone 11 Pro does not have a fingerprint scanner as it relies on Apple's Face ID which is Face Unlock which is much faster than a normal Face Unlock.
The Iphone 11 Pro Max on the other hand has a larger screen with higher resolution, but the Iphone 11 Pro with OLED panel looks great with good viewing angles and color reproduction.

iPhone 11 Pro performance:

iphone 11 performance

Iphone 11 Pro sports Apple A13 Bionic Chipset which is better performance than last year's Apple A12 Bionic as seen on Iphone XS. The Apple A13 Bionic has: 2x2.65 Ghz Lightning high performance cores and 4x1.8 Ghz Thunder efficient cores built on 7nm process. The Lightning Core is 20% faster and 30% more efficient than the Apple A12 Bionic. GPU is same on A12 Bionic which is 4 core but this time it is 20% faster and 40% efficient as compared to A12 Bionic. This helps in giving better and better performance than Iphone XS and XS Max. The 8 cores are working very well for shooting videos and taking pictures in third generation neural engines. The device comes with 4GB RAM onboard.
Coming to the gaming aspect, the Iphone 11 Pro handled all games as easily as PUBG Mobile, Asphalt 9 Extreme etc. and barely warmed up the device. The only hurdle is notch otherwise the gaming experience would have been slightly better.
In terms of benchmarks, the Iphone 11 Pro scored 5483 and 13829 in single core and multi core score in Geekbench 4.1 respectively. This is a nice jump from the Apple A12 Bionic and is slightly higher than the Snapdragon 855 on devices like the OnePlus 7, Samsung S10, Redmi K20 Pro etc.
When it comes to performance, the Iphone 11 Pro with the A13 Bionic is a great device.

iPhone 11 Pro software:

iphone 11 software

The new Iphone always ships with the latest version of iOS and this year it is no different with the Iphone 11 Pro as it ships with iOS 13.0.1. It was later updated to iOS 13.1, which had some very interesting features such as system wide dark mode, some improvements in charging speed and battery life, and some applications like photos, maps, sign-in Apple ID as a new Got the look and more access lockscreen for it. Sadly we remember the 3D Touch of the earlier Iphone but we get the Haptic Touch which we can enable from the settings. Siri also works well and with iOS 13 it improves speech recognition.
The photo application in iOS 13 is completely new as it now has four tabs - Year, Month, Days and All Photos. It also brings new editing modes for the application. With iOS 13, there is a new sign-in with Apple Pay. This helps to sign in faster, making it more secure using FaceID and TouchID using an Apple account. IOS 13 brings all the major improvements and the software of Iphone 11 Pro with A13 Bionic is very good.

Last year the Iphone XS came with two cameras including a main camera that is 12MP with dual pixel technology and a telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom. The cameras were superb and with the Iphone 11 Pro and Iphone 11 Pro Max this year, you get the same setup from the predecessor which includes a 12MP ultraviolet camera for wider aperture shots and some camera improvements.
There are now three cameras at the rear: a 12MP f / 1.8 main camera with dual pixel autofocus + 12MP f / 2.0 telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom and a 12MP f / 2.4 ultraviolet camera. You can easily switch between cameras as the device knows the right focus and exposure by providing good pictures and video.
Pictures captured with the main camera are very good with reasonable color accuracy and exposure in the surroundings. The dynamic range is also wide enough and produces excellent photos with HDR as the photo is taken from DSLR. In low light conditions and at night, photos come in good with richer colors and more natural looks. The dedicated night mode helps the camera with balanced color output in the background and helps prevent background noise. The OIS helps the camera provide good pictures that provide good illumination in the environment. The colors are excellent and the contrast is also very good. I think this camera is best when compared to other flagships like OnePlus 7 Pro, Huawei Mate 30 Pro, Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ when it comes to night time photography.

The telephoto camera, which is 12MP, makes the photos very good. All photos are rich in detail and the background noise is also well maintained. It shoots well at depth, but the colors here are slightly warmer than the main camera. One thing that telephoto cameras miss is OIS which would have been better. Some photos had oversharing, but not a major problem as a software update would help solve this problem. Arriving at night without night mode, the photos became spectacular with good details in the background and sharpness and exposure were well maintained. Although the colors look slightly washed out, but with night mode turned on, photos become better with good color reproduction and the exposure is well maintained. When it comes to telephoto cameras, the Iphone 11 Pro is the strongest offering in its segment.

This is a new 12MP Ultravide camera which takes good pictures but is not taken from telephoto and main camera. The colors turn out to be rich, but the contrast levels are not so attractive. There is a lot of soft in the surroundings that needs to be improved a lot. Coming to Night Shots, pictures taken with the Ultravide camera are good with good exposure in the background, but detail levels in the shadows are a hit as this camera lacks Night Mode. But still you take good pictures at night for wide aperture and good dynamic range.

Now coming to portraits, the Iphone 11 Pro, like the OnePlus 7 Pro, uses a telephoto lens to capture portraits. Portrait mode provides many lighting effects and thus adjusts to the person's skin tone thus providing good background blur and edge detection in photos. Thanks to the equipped neural engine in the Apple A13 Bionic. Coming into the night, portraits excel with dedicated night mode and edge detection whether it is a distant object or an adjacent one works very well. Skin tone also looks more natural. With the telephoto camera, portraits tend to be good and the new lighting effects work really well.
Switching to video, the iPhone 11 Pro supports 4k @ 60fps with good stabilization and wide dynamic range. At 4k @ 30fps, the footage from the video is much more natural and with good color accuracy in the background. By night, the videos are superb with both the main camera as well as the telephoto camera. Smart HDR works great for both 4k as well as 1080p video. The iPhone 11 Pro can also switch between three modes and autofocus works great by adjusting exposure and contrast throughout video.
But there is a slight lack of detail in the video and color reproduction is not as good when taken with an ultraviolet camera.
On the front, the Iphone 11 Pro comes with a 12MP f / 2.2 aperture combined with a ToF camera. Pictures taken from the front camera are good with rich skin tones that were natural contrasting and appropriate contrast levels to suit the surroundings. The dynamic range is very wide and photos with HDR are exceptionally good. Portraits are also really good as the picture lighting effects make the human subject a proper separation from the surroundings and background blur also works well. Iphone 11 Pro supports 4k video from front camera which is a big improvement over Iphone XS. It can also record slumo video at 120fps which Apple likes to call sloughies with a good level of detail and wide dynamic range.
Overall considering the Iphone XS which had a really good camera, the Iphone 11 Pro improves upon it by an additional ultravide camera and support for some new features such as Slofies and 4k video from the front camera. But the Ultravide camera requires some improvements, but otherwise taking into account the quality of the photos and videos, the Iphone 11 Pro is an excellent camera-centric smartphone and if purely you're looking with a great smartphone camera, then Iphone 11 Pro is perfect to suit your needs.

Iphone 11 Pro Battery Life:

Iphone 11 Pro Battery

Battery Capacity - 3969 mAh
Charger - 18W
Full Charging Time - 2 Hour

The Iphone 11 Pro packs a 3046mAh battery which is slightly lower than its larger sibling as compared to the Iphone 11 Pro Max, which packs a massive 3969mAh battery which is the highest Iphone to date. Battery life is a nice improvement over last year's Iphone XS. With normal web browsing, 2-3 hours of video playback and continuous gaming with PUBG Mobile, the Call of Duty device went smoothly in a day. But there is nothing to worry as Apple has bundled the Iphone 11 Pro with the 18W Fast Charger. The charger quickly reaches 50% in the first half hour, but the full charge is closer to 2 hours.
The iPhone 11 Pro also supports USB PD fast charging via power banks or when connected to devices such as laptops. Iphone 11 Pro as well as Iphone 11 Pro Max supports 10W wireless charging.

Iphone 11 Pro Sound Quality:

The Iphone 11 Pro has stereo speakers like the Iphone XS where the first speaker is the vent facing bottom and serves as the earpiece secondary. The sound output is very crisp and clear. The bass level is also very good and the sound is exceptionally good with Apple Airpods. The thrust level is good but when shrunk to a large crowd it shrinks. Still Iphone 11 Pro has better sound quality than Iphone 11 and Iphone XS.
